CONCLUSIONIn conclusion, Potassium aluminum sulfate, KAl(SO4)212H2O (alum) on Al metal scraps from aluminum cans was then synthesized. The theoretical yield of the alum was determined wherein an approximation of 17.6 g. The chemical equations of the reactions as evident in the preparation of alum on Al metal scraps were expressed.
